May 8, 2011 - WOMEN WHO ROCK - Mother\'s Day Style

March 1, 2011 - St. Patty\'s Music Event! Grand Reopening!
Did you know that Puck has been closed for two months?  ME NEITHER!  I thought they were just keeping the lights low to save energy.  Well, I was half right.  Turns out they've been renovating and adding solar panels to the roof!  How about that!  What's even better is that they was us to play their grand reopening on March 17th - St. Patty's Day.  This is a FREE show.  I hope to see you there.  Mike Phieffer opens at 8pm.

December 13, 2010 - GIG!!! OUR FIRST AT TRIUMPH BREWERY THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17th!
Hello my peeps!  As much as I love the holidays, it can get too stressful.  I hear a ticking clock in my head reminding me I'm in deep S#*@ for not starting my Christmas shopping yet.  UGH.  What I am doing instead is working hard with the Punch Drunk Boys to prep for our GIG at TRIUMPH BREW PUB in New Hope, PA.  We go on just before 10pm and rock till midnight.  I promise you will NOT hear a Christmas song (the guys wouldn't let me ).   This is our first gig at Triumph and we want to impress the good folks there, so please come show your support!  Can't wait to see you all!!  Five bucks (that's NOTHING!)

September 10, 2010 - WOMEN WHO ROCK First Annual Music Festival!
The date is set, the compilation CDs are being reproduced, the posters are being hung, and all the artists are chompping at the bit to play at the first ever Women Who Rock Festival!!  Come spend the afternoon with us on Sunday, October 3rd at PUCK in Doylestown, PA from noon to 9pm.  We are closing down Printer's Alley for a big stage, concessions and merch stands. This is a family-friendly event and costs just $5.  All proceeds benefit Hear Her Heart - a charity dedicated to raising awareness about women's heart disease.  Hope to see you there!  I will likely to on around 8...

September 8, 2010 - New mix of The Party
The upcoming Women Who Rock festival will feature a compilation CD of some of our favorite artists from past Women Who Rock shows.  Courtney Fairchild and I have both conributed songs and personally selected the other amazing tunes on the compilation.  I took the opportunity to add some new parts to my submission - The Party.  Please check out this new rocking version recorded and mixed at Sweet Creek Studios in Ottsville, PA and let me know what you think!  Thanks!

August 6, 2010 - SHOW SCHEDULE - Women Who Rock!
Hey everyone! Look for me and the Punch Drunk Boys at PUCK for another Women Who Rock show!  Fellow WWR founder, Courtney Fairchild, will join me and Mama's Black Sheep for a fun show on Puck's patio (1 Printer's Alley, Doylestown, PA) THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 8th.  The show starts at 5 and goes till 8.  I'm go on around 7pm.  MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

July 23, 2010 - SHOW SCHEDULE - Wine Tasting!
Nothing brings out the flavor of wine more then live music.  It's TRUE!  See for yourself at my next gig this FRIDAY, July 23rd:  a lovely wine-tasting event held at the DelVal Farmer's Market!  This event is FREE so bring the kids and feed'em ice cream while you sample wines from Shady Brook Farms.  We play a marathon of a gig - 6 to 9!  Aren't you interested to see if I have a voice left? Seriously though it's a very relaxed and fun atmosphere...then again, what place with food, music, wine and ice cream isn't??  2100 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA.  Cheers!

June 19, 2010 - TONIGHT! A benefit for cancer: The LIVESTRONG CHALLENGE
I'm prepping for our gig tonight.  Lots of gear to load and I still need to settle on an outfit.  Woe-is-me.  Anyway, looking forward to playing for a great cause.  The festivities start at 6 but we go on at 8pm.  Followed by Crooked Crow.  Oh and I'll put a note out soon regarding my next gig on July 23rd wine-tasting event.  Thanks all!

March 29, 2010 - Inspiration
So I wrote a new song today.  Start to Finish in about an hour and a half.  When it goes like that, it's usually a good one, but I'm biased.  If you come to my next gig on April 16th at PUCK - you'll get to hear it.  Not sure on the title yet though.  It'll either be "Listen Up", "My Emancipation", "House of Cards" or "The Lesson".  Stay tuned.

Sad news everyone.  Due to my father's health I had to pull out of the Travis Manion benefit concert at the Moose to be held tonight and fly down to Florida.  The Punch Drunk Boys will cover for me as Little Big Thing.  Thanks for all your kind wishes...

March 2, 2010 - DAWN OF A NEW ERA
What could I mean???  Well, tonight was the first night The Punch Drunk Boys and I rehearsed in the new ROCK BARN.  No more practices in my dining room!  It's sounds great, inside AND out.  A special "thank you" goes to all my very understanding neighbors all these years :-)

January 1, 2010 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Well, peeps...I'm working on my goals for another year.  I believe I should be able to go another year without any cavities (yeah, you heard me.  I have NO cavities).  But I really want to grow the Women Who Rock showcase, book some gigs and some new venues, write some new songs and finish building my new rehearsal space!!  Fingers crossed!

September 28, 2009 - UPDATES & SHOW SCHEDULE!
Hello Everyone!  Man!  This is why I don't have a diary anymore, I never write often enough!  :-)  Well here's an update for you:   the Psychedelic Circus was battered with some tough weather but we all made the best of it.  Thanks to the hard core fans who stuck it out and danced all night!  Look for some video clips of the show in the near future. Also, WOMEN WHO ROCK continues to grow in it's success.  We had great shows in August and September.  I'm totally looking forward to playing with Jenn Grant on Sunday, October 11th.

May 13, 2009 - WOMEN WHO ROCK!!
Hello everyone!  I have some cool news on the gig front.  Courtney Fairchild and I are spearheading a WOMEN WHO ROCK show to be hosted by Puck for several dates throughout 2009.  On the second Sunday of each month, we will host and perform in a rock show featuring female musical performers with a rock edge.  The first three dates will have FREE admission to the patio stage and Puck will provide drink/food specials.  So come out, get a tan, have a drink or a meal and support WOMEN WHO ROCK!!  The first show is SUNDAY JUNE 14th!!  Make It Happen!

November 17, 2008 - Thank You Evan and Tim
Hey! Just wanted to send a special "thank you" to my good friends (and local rock Gods) Evan and Tim of Wineskin for coming to my release party yesterday. They kindly came to show their support and helped me break PUCK's attendance record - a record they held before yesterday. You guys ROCK. Hopefully, you will see us playing together at Sellersville Theatre in 2009. STAY TUNED!!

November 16, 2008 - Thank You
I want to sincerely thank all of those who helped celebrate my CD Release Party at PUCK. We're in the record books!!! We had the highest attendance PUCK has ever had with over 185 fans (and several more who sneaked in...you know who you are!! :-) coming to show their support. I could not of asked for, much less imagined, a better evening. Special thanks to Mike the sound guy, Nancy the fearless Puck manager and With Eyes Like Ours (our superb opening act!).
